Way too interested in forcing you to buy things from their online store. I recently had my dog in to has a test run to check for heartworms in order to get a new prescription for heartworm medicine. The test was negative so I asked for a new prescription for Tri-Heart Plus for my dog. This is the medicine one of the Vets that worked there prescribed for my dog last year with no problems. This time, I was told if I didn't buy the medication from their online store I would have to sign a waiver absolving them of any liability if my dog had in problems with the same heartworm medicine he has been on for a year, which was purchased from Walmart Pharmacy. I was given a bunch of far fetched reasons why I should buy from this Vet rather than Chewy or even Walmart which I didn't buy. When I was paying for the services they provided on this visit, I told the young lady waiting on my I was told I needed to sign a waiver in order for the Vet to give me a prescription from somewhere other than their online store and she told me there was a $15.00 charge for the waiver. I couldn't believe it. I paid my bill and left. I called other vets in the area and they do not do anything to basically blackmail you in to purchasing meds from them. I couldn't believe this Vet could stoop so low to make money from their customers. He is clearly more interested in making money more than satisfying his customers. I won't be going back. I will likely have to pay another veterinary for another blood test to get a new prescription for Heartworm medicine for my do, but I would rather do this than give this this Vet any more of my money.
