Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Eby was born and grew up in rural Northeastern Oklahoma. He first attended the University of Tulsa and then graduated in Fisherie Biology at Oklahoma State University. He graduated from the Veterinary School at Oklahoma State in 1983. His first job in vet clinics was in a mixed practice in Bentonville, Arkansas. In 1984 he moved to Carroll County, Arkansas and worked at the Berryville Veterinary Clinic until 1990. At that time he opened the St. Francis Veterinary Clinic. At first he worked out of his home and truck until a two-car garage could be converted to a small but well-equipped clinic. After he added a large animal barn, the practice quickly grew into an Ozark veterinary clinic that could include four doctors. The clinic moved to the new facility in July, 2007, and the practice continues to support at least three doctors and several staff members. Dr. Eby enjoys the variety of practice at St. Francis Vet Clinic, and finds farm calls a great way to see the area in all seasons. Vet surgery is his main interest, both orthopedic and soft tissue. He is married, has two children, and loves fishing and gardening.
