Veterinarian Overview
From the time I was young, I have always been fascinated by animals of all kinds. When I was not watching nature shows on television, I was outside looking for turtles or baby birds, or reading a book about the animal kingdom.I attended college at the University of Arkansas where I earned an anthropology degree, with the goal of doing field work in primatology. I soon discovered that my real passion was in the area of medicine, and I enrolled in veterinary school at Louisiana State University. I graduated in 2011, and while I love the Tigers, I am still a Razorback fan above all! I feel extremely fortunate to be a part of the Bellevue team in 2016. I worked at a veterinary clinic before going to veterinary school, and so I knew that this was the kind of place where I wanted to practice. I love veterinary medicine, and am so grateful that I get to spend my days working with such excellent coworkers, clients, and patients. Those relationships truly make this the best profession in the world.
