Veterinarian Overview
Dr. James Ward, a native of Osceola, AR, received his bachelors' degree in Biological Science from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR. He then received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2004. Before coming to State Line Animal Hospital he was an Associate Veterinarian in Ash Flat, AR for 2 years. Dr. Ward joined the State Line Animal Hospital family in May of 2006.Dr. Ward's practice interests include, but are not limited to, Small Animal Medicine and Small Animal Surgery. Dr. Ward is also a firm believer in the Human-Animal bond. At home Dr. Ward is constantly entertained by his 3 Golden Retrievers: Cassidy, Sundance and Fender.Dr. Ward's interests outside of the practice include spending time with family and friends, listening to music, reading a good book now and again and the occasional home improvement project.
