Veterinarian Overview
A native of Tucson, Dr. Lee graduated from the University of Arizona, then received his D.V.M. degree from Kansas State University in 1978. His childhood love of animals and an interest in science and medicine found a natural combination in veterinary medicine. Dr. Lee has a special interest in internal medicine as well as orthopedic surgery. Dr. Lee is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, Southern Arizona Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Lee and his wife Julia are the proud parents of three grown daughters. Their last 4 dogs have been Shih Tzus, but for now their family consists of a couple desert tortoises. As part of his many activities in the community, Dr. Lee was a volunteer officer with the Pima County Sheriff's Department, serving in the patrol and SWAT divisions. He retired in 1999 and retains his law enforcement affiliations through memberships in the Law Enforcement Alliance of America and the National Rifle Association. When not working, he enjoys woodworking, golf, gardening, old movies, and competitive shooting.
