Veterinarian Overview
Austin Stitzer D.V.M. was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He did his undergraduate education at Arizona State University and then moved to Texas to go to Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 1999 he moved back to the Valley of the Sun and worked as an associate Veterinarian at a few hospitals that helped him learn about reproduction work and other specialties. He opened Power Ranch Animal Hospital at the end of 2003 and opened Ironwood Animal Hospital in 2009. He ensures both hospitals offer compassionate and friendly service with excellent medicine. He prides himself on his wonderful staff and the knowledge and care they offer on a daily basis. He is amazed with the passionate doctors at both hospitals and the great but fair medicine they practice. Dr. Stitzer became a veterinarian not only for his love of animals but for the personalized bond they create with humans. He tries to continue this philosophy through both of his hospitals. Dr. Stitzer is blessed with an adorable 13 year old boy named Chaz who is his entire universe. He enjoys outdoor sports of all kinds and traveling. He is a diehard Aggie fan but will see animals with owners from other conferences.
