Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Marcus is an Arizona native who graduated from the University of Arizona as Summa Cum Laude. She attended and graduated with high merit from Colorado State University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, a Veterinary Business Certificate, and Certification in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture.Following her schooling at Colorado State, Dr. Marcus completed a rigorous internship in Small Animal Medicine & Surgery at the University of Georgia; College of Veterinary Medicine.Dr. Marcus has been heavily involved in Veterinary Medical Research with the goal of advancing veterinary medicine and patient care. She has been published in several esteemed veterinary journals & takes special interest in internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, emergency medicine, and acupuncture. She finds passion in strengthening the human and animal bond while being able to provide the best quality veterinary care.In her spare time she enjoys hiking in Phoenix, running with her dog Charlie, volunteering with the community and traveling.
