Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wikler is originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to the Phoenix area with her family at a young age. Her love for animals and veterinary medicine blossomed during her time spent working at a local animal shelter. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Animal Behavior and Physiology at Arizona State University, and then went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. Dr. Wikler was eager to leave the snow and rain of Washington, and return to sunny Arizona to join Surprise Animal Hospital. Although she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, her special interests include feline medicine, infectious diseases, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Wikler shares her home with two fluffy cats, "Jazzy" and "Bentley." In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching movies, and lounging by the pool. Dr. Wikler looks forward to meeting you, and to helping your furry family members live long healthy lives!
