Veterinarian Overview
During my childhood years, the family pets were my best friends. My family had moved several times before I entered high school, and my pets provided the love, companionship, and stability that I needed to help myself adapt to the many changes. I always believed that pets were a part of my family, and because they had helped me, I knew that I wanted to one day help them too. Becoming a veterinarian has helped me to accomplish this important, personal goal. I am new to Care Animal Hospital, as well as Temecula, and am very excited to be a part of such an outstanding, compasionate group of people. Prior to moving to Temecula, I had lived in Cincinnati, Ohio, where I practiced veterinary medicine at an animal hospital for 10+ years. My staff, colleagues, patients, and their owners all became like family. I am looking forward to establishing those same types of relationships here at Care Animal Hospital. In addition to practicing medicine in the Cincinnati area, I have also worked in Illinois and Kentucky. I graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. I was married to Nicholas in 2006 and became the proud step-mother of two beautiful girls, Alexandra and Samantha. In 2007, we welcomed our new child Olivia into the world. My current fur-covered family members are Carly, a boxer/German Shepard mix, who is five years old, and Joey, a ten-year-old, femail domestic shorthair kitty who is named after a baby kangaroo because she was an excellent jumper as a kitten!
