Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Samuel Lam graduated from UC Davis with a B.A. in Psychology, Sociology, and Communications and from San Francisco State with a B.S. in Zoology and minors in Holistic Health and Chemistry. He received his AS in Veterinary Technology from Foothill College, and went on to receive his DVM from Midwestern University. Dr. Lam has been with VCA since August of 2018. Dr. Lam's special interests include small animal medicine, soft tissue surgery, holistic/integrative medicine, veterinary acupuncture, herbal medicine, and veterinary chiropractic. He enjoys his job because it allows him to explore the human-animal bond, as well as the important role that pets play in the family. Dr. Lam appreciates the opportunity to be a part of that extended family, and to help preserve the bond by caring for pets when they're sick, as well as seeing them annually for wellness exams and preventative care.
