Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Howard Schutzman received his DVM in 1981 from Cornell University. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Schutzman decided on a career in veterinary medicine while still in grade school. In 1986 he and his business partner, Dr. Arnold Gutlaizer, founded Broadway Veterinary Associates and opened practices in Oakland and Antioch. As a veterinarian, Dr. Schutzman finds the challenge of difficult cases most rewarding and is dedicated to offering all clients the highest level of care and service. Dr. Schutzman enjoys travel, reading, basketball, backgammon and spending time with his family.
