Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Pavlina Burpee grew up in the Czech Republic. She obtained her DVM degree from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2007 and completed a rotating internship in emergency medicine and critical care, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, and neurology in 2008. Prior to opening Burbank Veterinary Center APC, Dr. Burpee practiced both as an Emergency Veterinarian and as a General Practice Veterinarian for select veterinary hospitals in the greater Los Angeles area. Dr. Burpee is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Her areas of interests include emergency medicine and critical care, internal medicine, radiology, and neurology. Dr. Burpee particularly enjoys case workups, client education, dermatology, dentistry, and preventative care. Dr. Burpee is a local Burbank resident and long time member of the community where she enjoys her family, two rescued dogs Ernie and Bert, and rescued three legged cat Pajda.
