Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Roberto Soto is the newest addition to the South Bay Veterinary Hospital team. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Soto got his undergraduate degree in the Dominican Republic at the Pedro Henriguez Urena University before coming to the U.S. to study veterinary medicine at the University of Illinois. Dr. Soto specializes in general medicine, however, enjoys the challenge of investigating different diseases that affect the community on a daily basis and helping people care for their animals in a better way. When Dr. Soto isnt challenging his veterinary skills at South Bay, he enjoys riding his road bike and beach sports (which he so happily looks forward to doing every day in sunny San Diego). He also enjoys watching classic international movies and TV shows, like Game of Thrones and House of Cards, with his Italian Mastiff, Bruno.
