Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Saunders is a co-owner of Golden Lantern Animal Hospital. He graduated from UC Davis in 1985 where he earned the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. His dream since he was a little boy, working on his fathers farm, was to be a veterinarian. He admires the human-animal bond between his clients and their pets. His fondest memory was when he opened his first Veterinary Hospital in 1989. He especially enjoys surgery, gerontology, nutrition, and behavior. He is proud that we are able to offer assistance to the San Clemente/Dana Point animal shelter. In his spare time he enjoys biking, traveling, riding his ATV, jet skiing, & snow skiing with his family.
