Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Getty earned her BA in business management from University of Maryland. After years in the financial industry, her passion for animals and people drove her to pursue a career in the veterinary field. She received her Doctor of Veterinary medicine degree with an Avian and Exotic animal focus from North Carolina State University. Dr. Getty is a veteran of the Untied States Marine Corps. Her areas of special interests include supporting rescue groups, shelters, soft tissue surgery, nutrition and exotic animal medicine. Dr. Getty has been with the Animal Hospital of Desert Hot Springs for 3 years.
