Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Richard Strasser was born in Anchorage, Alaska. His early years were spent in Manassas, Virginia and Bellevue, Washington, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Washington in 1990. He then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a rifleman and squad leader with 3rd Bn., 9th Marines. After fulfilling his obligations to the Marines, he returned to school and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California at Davis in 2002. He is interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine, including preventive medicine, dermatology, dentistry, internal medicine, and surgery. His goal is to provide you, the pet owner, with as much information as he can, to enable you to make the best decisions for the well-being and care of your pets.
