Veterinarian Overview
Being the kid every stray followed home and the magnet for injured wildlife, of course I wanted to be an animal doctor. Fortunately, I had parents who let me make the lost and orphaned part of our family. I majored in Animal Husbandry in college and attended the University of Missouri College Of Veterinary Medicine. I do my best to treat animals and people, as I would want to be treated. I am a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association (Practitioner Affiliate), California Veterinary Medical Association, and the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association. I have been a volunteer member of the Board of Trustees of the Animal Health Foundation since 1972. I enjoy walking our fifth used racing dog, Santiago, gardening, reading (mostly trying to keep up with the advances in medicine) and traveling when I can.
