Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Christina Shepherd is a Los Angeles native who grew up with a passion for animals that continues to grow throughout her career.She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Cruz and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Science in 2010. After graduation, she had the opportunity to work in Las Vegas, Nevada and San Antonio, Texas prior to moving back to Los Angeles in 2014 to be closer to family and friends.Dr. Shepherd focuses on a whole-pet approach and integrates conventional and alternative medicine with her patients. She has a keen interest in surgery and dentistry, as oral health can influence the entire body in both animal and human alike.Outside of the clinic, Dr. Shepherd enjoys staying fit through triathlon training, hiking and yoga. Her dogs are her most enthusiastic running buddies.
