Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Dalo graduated cum laude at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. He was the recipient of the Everingham Prize of Cardiology in 1985 and is a member of Phi-Zeta, the national veterinary honor society. He has been consistently practicing small animal veterinary surgery and medicine with a special interest in advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgery and diagnostics since 1985. Dr. Dalo has been a Santa Barbara veterinarian since 1994. Dr. Dalo was the first small animal veterinarian to offer Santa Barbara County residents small animal minimally invasive arthroscopic, laparoscopic, endoscopic, and thoracoscopic surgery using state of the art equipment. He has completed many hours of advanced training. Dr. Dalo is an excellent surgeon who also has special medical interests in internal medicine. Internal medicine is a puzzle to solve and very rewarding. He has extensive training in ultrasound and uses this modality to help find out what is going on in our patients.
