Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wang joined the Quail team in the summer of 2017. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of California at Santa Barbara and then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Wang completed a competitive small animal rotating internship in San Diego, acquiring extensive training in surgery, internal medicine, emergency, and critical care and cultivating his interest in radiology. He worked as a general practitioner for several years in Oceanside afterwards. Dr. Wang spent part of his childhood in Taiwan and is fluent in Mandarin and English. Known for his wide scope of knowledge and calming bedside manner, Dr. Wang is a valued addition to the Quail Animal Hospital family. Dr. Wang and his wife, Jennifer, who is also a veterinarian, are the proud parents of a chihuahua named Nori and a lovable cat named Rupert. During his free time, Dr. Wang enjoys deep sea fishing and watching movies.
