Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Alyssa is excited to be part of the Pine Animal Hospital team! She is a Los Angeles native and is happy to be back in sunny California. Dr. Alyssa received her Bachelors of Science degree at Stanford University and her doctorate from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a particular interest in dog and cat preventative medicine. In addition to her small animal experience, Dr. Alyssa has a background in wildlife medicine. She has a special place in her heart for marine mammal rehabilitation, and she has also worked on an emergency mobile unit in Kenya. Dr. Alyssa grew up with 3 Italian Greyhounds and is currently seeking to adopt a four-legged friend. Dr. Alyssa loves dancing (everything from line dancing to hip hop), whale watching, hiking, and eating pastries.
