Steve Harnagel, DVM: Education: BS degree in Zoology: University of California, Davis, 1976 DVM degree: UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, 1980 Radiology Residency: UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, 1984-1987 Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Radiology, 1987 Upon graduation from veterinary school in 1980, Dr. Harnagel practiced as part owner of a mixed practice in Lockeford, CA until 1984. He returned to the UCD School of Veterinary Medicine as a house officer in radiology, completing a three year residency in 1987. He established Veterinary Medical Imaging in 1987, serving the greater Sacramento area and Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys. Dr. Harnagel has special interests in ultrasound and general diagnostic radiology. His interests outside of veterinary medicine include ranching and growing Syrah wine grapes, whitewater rafting, fly-fishing, photography, and woodworking.
