Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Chung is the Chief doctor at Little Tokyo Pet Clinic. She loves animals of all kinds. Taking care of Dogs, Cats, and Exotic animals, such as: Rabbits, Birds, and Reptiles. After completing Clinical Rotation at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University, she worked as a General Practitioner and an Emergency Doctor in Southern California, before opening Little Tokyo Pet Clinic in downtown Los Angeles. Dr. Chung is also a proud member of the American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA), Southern California Veterinary Medicine Association (SCVMA), and California Veterinary Medicine Association (CVMA). She received her Ph.D. in Molecular Endocrinology at the Medical School of Gunma University in Japan, and worked as a Veterinarian-Scientist at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, and at the Biomedical-Cancer research group in San Diego. During her research experience, Dr. Chung received an NIH fellowship and published numerous papers, as well as cloning and registering three animal genes into the GenBank.
