Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Enke has been a home town veterinarian since 1989. She grew up in Martinez and attended the local schools prior to going on to higher education. She graduated from UC Davis in 1989, and purchased Martinez Animal Hospital from Dr. Monser in 1999 after working with him in the practice for 10 years. Dr. Enke has loved and cared for an assortment animals since a child growing up on a local ranch. She rode her horses and tended to the cows, dogs and cats. She continues to ride the local trails on her horse Poco. Other spare time activities include playing her trombone in the local jazz and concert bands, and score keeping for the high school softball team. Dr. Enke has also dedicated a lot of time and effort into the kitten adoption program which places abandoned or unwanted kittens into loving homes.
