Veterinarian Overview
I grew up in the Midwest and had a dog and horse. I spent time with my grandparents in South Dakota where they raised cattle and I developed a strong interest in becoming a veterinarian. I attended veterinary school at Purdue University and graduate in 1984. I moved to California and first worked at an equine hospital. I went from there to a mixed animal practice, and in 1989 I went to work for Dr. Lattig and Dr. Dooley treating companion animals at Modesto Veterinary Hospital. I have been continuously employed by Dr. Lattig since then. I am proud to be a part of the professional staff at Standiford Veterinary Center since the two locations have recently combined. In my spare time my wife and I enjoy our horses and traveling. We no longer compete with our horses and enjoy just riding at home. I have also have done custom leatherwork for 20 years and moved into refurbishing and dealing in antique leather working tools. We share our home with two horses, two dogs, four cats, and a varying number of cattle.
