Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wood graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in June 2007 and completed a year-long internship at the Animal Surgical and Emergency Center in Los Angeles, CA. During her internship, she cultivated her passion for surgery with board certified surgeons, and discovered an interest in internal medicine while working with critical patients in the ICU. Other rotations of interest included radiology, cardiology, emergency and critical care medicine, and internal medicine. After completing the internship, Dr. Wood joined a general practice, and discovered an interest in canine and feline dentistry and pursued additional training with a dental specialist. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, Soufflé and Mousse, doing Yoga, hiking, reading, fishing, and spending time at the beach.
