Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Bianca Murphy is a South Florida native and 2014 graduate of the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science from Florida Atlantic University in 2009. After graduation, she joined Aloha Pet and Bird Hospital as an associate where she practiced avian, reptile, small mammal, and small animal medicine. During her time practicing there, it was clear that the best days were the ones where she was able to practice avian medicine. At the end of 2015, Dr. Murphy joined the Medical Center for Birds and is currently completing a residency that will allow her to attain ABVP diplomacy with a specialty in avian medicine at the end of 2018. At the end of each day, Dr. Murphy goes home to her two best buddies; her shepherd Jasper, who has been with her since the first year of veterinary school, and her young macaw Ava, who enjoys singing in the shower and ruling the house
