Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Shouse received his Bachelors's of Animal Science from Davis in 1966, his Masters of Science degree in animal nutrition in 1967 from the University of California at Davis and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Davis in 1971. He and his family moved to Ojai in that same year and he joined the staff at Ojai Pet Hospital, later purchasing the clinic.Dr. Shouse served as the General Manager of Pet Emergency Clinics in Ventura and Thousand Oaks from inception of the clinics in 1979 until 1999. During that time he worked thousands of hours providing emergency and critical care for the pets of Ventura County, while still providing day to day care for the pets of his clients at Ojai Pet Hospital.
