Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Maryam Alemzadeh joined the team at VCA A Breed Apart in 2010. She received her Bachelor in Animal Science from California Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA. After receiving her bachelor's degree, she moved to Moorpark, CA, where she attended the Exotic Animal Training and Zoo Management program at Moorpark College. Dr. Alemzadeh received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross School of Veterinary Medicine on the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts. She really enjoys working with cats and dogs and also has a special interest in pocket pets, birds and reptiles. Dr. Alemzadeh lives in the Los Angeles area with her husband and daughter Lily. She enjoys spending time with her family, her 2 cats "Tyson" and "Chloe" and her little guinea pig "Gwenie"
