Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Tennant grew up in Sacramento, California and graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Riverside in 2001. She then attended St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, West Indies and graduated in 2006. After graduating, she moved to Northern Virginia, where she practiced for 9 years before deciding to move back home to California. She enjoys mentoring veterinary students and was part of the mentor program at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine for several years. Dr. Tennants professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and zoonotic diseases. In her spare time, you will probably find her outdoors, as she especially loves trail-running, mountain biking, snowboarding and golfing. She has two cats, Jinx and Mini Jinx, (aka MJ), and two Australian cattle dogs named Dee and Target.
