Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nada Khalaf grew up in Beirut, Lebanon. She attended U.C. Davis where she graduated from Veterinary School in 1991 and joined our hospital in January of 1992. Dr Khalaf has a special interest in internal medicine, continuing education and client communication. Dr. Khalaf was the president of the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association for the year 2011. She also served on the House of Delegates to the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) from 2008-2014 and is now on the CVMA Board of Governors. She designs and publishes McClave's newsletter: The McClave Tailwagger. Dr. Khalaf has a 22 pound cat named Figaro, a Mini Dachshund Hoodoo, a desert tortoise named Walnut and a young but huge African Sulcata Tortoise named Desmond Tortu. In her spare time, Dr. Khalaf likes to travel, spend time in Lake tahoe, hike, play racquetball, read and spend time with friends and family.
