Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Gallegos graduated from Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She lived and worked as a large and small animal doctor for a few years in south central Missouri before returning to KSU to teach and research spinal cord injury in cats. Since 2001 Dr. Leigh has worked in Southern California as a small animal doctor in emergency and critical care and in general practice. Her love and devotion to cats led her to become the owner of Riverside Cat Hospital in 2015. In her free time Dr. Leigh enjoys cooking and gardening, as well as reading and cross-stitch.
