Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lawler is a graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, with a BA in Psychology from University of Maryland. Prior to graduate school, she worked as a dog trainer and veterinary technician. While she was stationed in Germany with her husband she pioneered a Pet Visitation Program for the soldiers at the Army hospital and taught Pet First Aid classes for the American Red Cross. She has an interest in canine behavior and the Human-Animal Bond. Dr. Lawler lives with her husband and their 3 dogs, an English Springer Spaniel named Frederick and Papillons Louis and Frankie. They enjoy traveling, taking the dogs hiking and spending time with family.
