Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Marilyn Koski is a graduate of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and is certified in the specialties of Veterinary Acupuncture and Canine Physical Rehabilitation. She has been a faculty veterinarian at the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine for over 15 years, and in private practice for 23 years.
Dr. Koski's primary focus is to provide pain management and rehabilitation services to dogs, cats and exotic animals, and to educate students, clients and colleagues in the value of integrative medicine therapies. Dr. Koski is involved in clinical research focusing on the use of low level laser therapy to relieve pain and promote tissue healing. She has also worked with exotic animal species in zoos and aquaria in California, Hong Kong, Australia and Thailand, and she has worked with wildlife species in California and the Antarctic.
In her free time, Dr. Koski enjoys hiking, gardening, art projects, and cooking for friends and family. She shares her life with her husband of 32 years and a varied family of furred, feathered and scaled "kids.
