Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lee Thorne is a native Santa Rosan. Upon graduating from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1973, he returned to Santa Rosa to begin practicing. In 1990, he and his wife Annie opened Alderbrook Pet Hospital. Dr. Thorne provides medical and surgical care to small animals and birds. Away from the hospital, he enjoys family time with Annie, their adult children, grandchildren and pets, Jackson (Chihuahua mix) and Cashew (Tortie). Of course when their four kids were growing up, the Thorne family included 2-3 dogs, several cats and birds (African grey, cockatiel, lovebird & parakeets), rats AND a full rabbitry for the kids' 4-H rabbit projects.
