Veterinarian Overview
Dr Yael Blass graduated with honors in Bio-Medical Science at the Hebrew University in Israel. After receiving her DVM in 2013 from the Koret School at the university, she and her husband moved to the Bay Area. We are delighted she is now at San Bruno Pet. She volunteered to help wildlife animals in Ecuador (2005) and Israel (2010-11), and participated in research work with vultures in Israel (2010-11). Her professional interests include internal medicine and exotics. During her time away from the hospital, she enjoys hiking, biking and local restaurants and concerts. Dr Blass has a dachshund mix ("Gulu") and a persian cat ("Kumiko").
