Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Loveland was born in Buffalo, New York. After high school she attended Dehli UNiversity and earned an associates degree in Animal Science. She then became an licensed veterinary technician. Dr. L worked as a technician for 7 years before she decided to go back to school to work toward her Doctorate in veterinary medicine. She completed her bachelors of veterinary science at Cornell University. She then went to Ross University in St. Kitts for veterinary school. After 3 years at Ross she went back to Cornell for her clinical year. After passing the boards, she briefly worked in Ohio at a small animal practice before obtaining an internship at Mississippi State University. Dr. L did both a general internship and a surgical internship before turning to teaching anatomy at and a fourth year of surgery. Dr. L also worked on a study that was looking at gait analysis before and after NSAID administration. In 2006 Dr. L moved to beautiful San Diego. She worked relief and owned her own practice after moving to SD. We are happy to have Dr. L as an associate doctor. Her interest includes pugs, felines, surgery and the Red Sox.
