Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Alexandra Moore is another one of our resident exotics doctors, who sees a variety of animals. She sees everything from dogs and cats to birds, reptiles, and small mammals. Also a native of the Bay Area, she graduated from veterinary school at the University of California, Davis, and had previously completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley. In addition, she did externships in the Florida Keys and France during her senior year of vet school. In fact, she also speaks French! She finally joined the VCA Crocker family in early 2012, and has been a wonderful addition to our team. Dr. Moore has a 2-year-old bearded dragon, Louie, a 13-year-old African Grey Congo (Parrot) named Lola, and two furry children a 7-year-old Dandie Dinmont Terrier named Kenny, and a 1-year-old, three-and-a-half legged Pomeranian she recently adopted named Tallulah." Outside of the hospital walls, Dr. Moore enjoys taking these lively pups to Fort Funston for some fun. She also enjoys hiking, science fiction, and comedy for entertainment.
