Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Fluent is a Southern California native, born and raised in Dana Point. From a very early age, Dr. Fluent displayed a passion for taking care of animals- having grown up with pets of all kinds from hamsters to iguanas, turtles, snakes, cats and dogs. Dr. Fluent attended UCLA for undergraduate school and went on to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, which is where she and her husband met. She attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine for her clinical year and graduated in 2008. Dr. Fluent started her career in small animal private practice in Orange County and has been doing so ever since. Prior to attending Veterinary school, Dr. Fluent spent seven years working in small animal hospitals in Orange County and Los Angeles- gaining invaluable experience familiarizing herself with every aspect of how a small animal hospital functions- which prepared her for her current role as hospital owner and manager. Dr. Fluents special interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry and abdominal ultrasound. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, traveling and tending to her succulent garde
