Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Waikart has been working in the veterinary field since 1999. During veterinary school, Dr. Waikart was chosen as one of two students in the country to participate in the elite US Navy marine mammal program in San Diego. This incredible experience sparked her love for Southern California and she moved here from her hometown in South Carolina shortly after graduating from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr. Waikart brings her caring nature and southern charm into every exam room. Dr. Waikart is skilled in dentistry and loves internal medicine and behavior cases as well. Her favorite things in life are her faithful dog (named after Johnny Cash), traveling, hiking, yoga, and surfing.
