Veterinarian Overview
After growing up in San Luis Obispo, Emily continued her education at Cal Poly, pursuing her interests in ecology and biology. Later, with her bachelors degree complete, she worked as a park ranger for the National Park Service and as a biologist for the state of California. Her love of animals motivated her to attend veterinary school at Louisiana State University, and she graduated in 2005. Following her 10-year experience practicing medicine and surgery in San Diego, she returned home and brought her expertise to Evergreen. Emily is happy to be back on the Central Coast where she enjoys hiking, baseball, football and reading with her husband and three sons. The family shares their home with their pet dog, Molly
