Veterinarian Overview
Kenneth Hartley, D.V.M grew up in the Southern California town of Manhattan Beach. He attended California State University, Long Beach and graduated in 1970 with a bachelors degree in Zoology. After graduating, he attended veterinary school at University of California, Davis. In 1975, he graduated and moved to Santa Rosa to work at Redwood Veterinary Clinic. In 1980, Dr. Hartley and Dr. Pritchard purchased Westside Veterinary Clinic and started their own practice. Ken enjoys the variety his profession brings on a day to day basis. His areas of interest are preventative wellness care, diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery, and avian/exotic medicine. The most rewarding part of his job is sharing a pets life from birth through their senior years. When not working, he enjoys horseback riding, hiking, and spending time with his family!
