Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Sheila Langrock is a fifth generation Californian. After obtaining her B.S. degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she received her D.V.M. from the University of California at Davis in 1990. She graduated with honors and was in the top 10% of her class. Dr. Langrock then completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine & Surgery at Texas A&M University. In 1991 Dr. Langrock joined a seven doctor, 24 hr. AAHA certified hospital and critical care facility. In 1997 she moved to Simi Valley and has been practicing in the eastern Ventura County area since that time. Sheila was the recipient of one of the first womens athletic scholarships at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo as a fast pitch pitcher on the womens softball team. She also played on an All Star Team that toured Taiwan. Sheila enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband Ron, snow skiing, playing beach and grass volleyball, water skiing, camping, hiking and fishing. One of her favorite activities anytime of year is horseback riding. She trail rides for pleasure and competes on the AQHQ, PCQHA and Open circuits in trail, horsemanship and showmanship. She also is very active in the local ETI Corral 118 horse shows here in Simi Valley, as a participant and a sponsor. Her pets include her dog Teva, her 2 cats Indy and Tazzie, her horses Macy and Parker and her tortoise Manny. She is excited about the opportunity to see her vision of Yosemite Pet Hospital become a reality, and being able to provide her high standards of veterinary medical care to her clients.
