Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lindsay Sjolin is originally from Tracy, California. She received her DVM at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Sjolins passion for wildlife led her into an internship at Walt Disney Worlds Animal Kingdom after receiving her Bachelors degree in Wildlife Biology. She has continued this passion by working closely with Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care. Dr. Sjolin also completed a year long internship in wild avian medicine and surgery at Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research in Newark, Delaware. Dr Sjolin worked at Alpine Animal Hospital before attending veterinary school. We are happy to have her back with us. She brings with her a certification in Veterinary Acupuncture from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). Her other interest include geriatric medicine, pain management and preventative care. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, bird watching, snowboarding, reading and most importantly spending time with her dog Finnley and cat Leo.
