Veterinarian Overview
Doctor Julio Bolívar graduated from San Marcos National University in 1975. He became an Small Animal Specialist in 1978 in Lima, Peru. He emigrated to United States of America in 1981 and got his accreditation as a Veterinarian in the U.S. on March 12, 1984. Working as a Veterinarian for different Hospitals in the Bay Area, he saw that some people had difficulties bringing their pets to the hospital; many pets were stressed out being in different environment. Cats were the most affected therefore; he saw the need for a house call Veterinarian. He started his Vet on Wheels practice in 1989 as a part time practice and became a full time House call Veterinarian in 1991. He is also a member of the California Veterinarian Medical Association and the Animal Hospital American Association.
