Veterinarian Overview
As a child growing up in Punjab, India, Dr. Chahal experienced the loss of a family dog due to a splenic tumor, which affected him in such a manner that it encouraged him to pursue a life caring for animals. He adds, I grew up in a rural environment in close proximity to animals. I fed cattle and dogs and developed relationship with these animals, which guided me to become a veterinarian. For his veterinary studies, Dr. Chahal attended the college of Veterinary Science at PAU and received his DVM degree in 2004. His areas of interest include internal medicine, surgery, ultrasound, and laser therapy. He is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association. He is also a graduate of the ECFVG program at Louisiana State Universitys School of Veterinary Medicine. He has been working as a veterinarian in the California Bay Area since 2006.At home he has an English bulldog named Roni-Roo. Dr Chahals interests include soccer, listening to music, and reading books
