Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jo, DVM, MS graduated from the Kangwon National University in South Korea, and went to graduate school to study Veterinary Histology and got her masters degree from Seoul National University. She did a year of internship in small animal medicine and surgery in Seoul after that, and opened her first practice on June 2004. After about 3 years of running the business, she wanted to experience something different. So she sold her clinic and traveled 15 different countries around the world including the UK where she met her husband. She got married and stayed in the UK for several years after. Then, the family decided to move to the sunny southern California, Dr. Jo obtained her California Veterinary License soon after. Since then, she has been practicing in the LA and Orange County with particular interested in the area of dermatology, surgery, animal rehabilitation and acupuncture.
