Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Aldridge is a native Californian, raised in the Monterey Bay area. Following completion of her undergraduate degree in General Biology at UC San Diego, she moved north to attend UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She worked as a large animal veterinarian in Gilroy, CA then moved back to San Diego and worked in general small animal veterinary practice.Since acquiring her certifications Dr. Aldridge has spent most of her time as a natural and integrative veterinarian, providing acupuncture and chiropractic treatments along with nutritional counseling, western supplements, Chinese herbal remedies and physical therapy recommendations along with traditional medicine. The goal of her treatments is to provide natural options to improve the health and quality of life of dogs and cats without harmful side effects. Typical patients include the older arthritic and weak pets to the young performance agility and show dogs, pets with chronic allergies or intestinal problems, pets with lameness and back pain, pets with cancer, and even pets without medical issues whose families want them to be as healthy and well balanced as possible.
