Dr. Nabil Wisa spent the majority of his childhood exploring the great outdoors, surrounded by animals of all sorts. It didn’t take long for him to begin developing interests in science and medicine. For Dr. Wisa, a career in the veterinary world simply felt natural! Dr. Wisa earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1993, then practiced in Canada and Florida before relocating to California. He has worked in multiple practices throughout Orange County and Los Angeles, both as a permanent and relief veterinarian. Dr. Wisa is a certified member of the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and the International Association of Veterinary Chiropractitioners, and is also a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the California Veterinary Medical Association, and the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Wisa took ownership of East West Veterinary Clinic in 2013, and has special interests in surgery, geriatric medicine, and complementary and alternative therapies. He was very warm and informative as to what his plan was for my geriatric "baby"(She is a German Shepherd/Rough Collie mix of 12 years of age). As for most animal lovers, our "pets" are our children if not our lives. Often, we feel as if we cannot go on without them especially when they are getting up in the double digits. We want them to live forever and they will in our hearts. We only want them to live a bit longer, in good health and pain free, here with us on earth. Doctor Wisa was very knowledgable and knew exactly what he was going to do for my Schatzi and he made good on his promises of continued health and long life. I recommend, Dr. Wisa, to anyone in the market for a new vet for their furry "Babies". In addition, I've been coming to Ambassador Animal Hospital throughout the 30 years I've lived in Long Beach and I can also recommend Dr. "Sam" the owner who treated and CURED my older cat of Feline Aids when I first began going to Ambassador back in the 80's. Forget the rest. GO TO THE BEST!!! Ambassador Animal Hospital. (562) 427-2889.
