Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Leeds was the first board certified veterinary surgeon in Los Angeles, and has been performing surgery on a referral basis in Los Angeles since 1974. Dr. Leeds received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ohio State University in 1966. Following graduation he completed a 15 month rotating internship at the prestigious Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Mass. Upon completion of his internship, Dr. Leeds was appointed as the first surgical resident in Angell Memorial's history. As part of his residency Dr. Leeds taught surgery to the senior students at the Harvard Medical School while rotating through the surgical Procedures of the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital.
